Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MyTindahan ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our sari-sari store management dashboard. By using MyTindahan, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Account information. We use Google Sign-In to create and authenticate your account. This gives us your name, email address, and profile picture. We never see or store your Google password.

Store data you enter. Everything you add to run your store (products, stock batches, sales records, customer names and utang balances, GCash cash-in/cash-out entries, notes, and supplier details) is stored so your dashboard works. This data belongs to you.

Support requests. If you submit a bug report, feature request, or contact form message, we store what you wrote and your account email so we can respond.

Basic usage data. We record sign-up and last sign-in timestamps to keep your account secure and to understand overall usage of the service.

2. How we use your information

  • To operate your store dashboard and keep your data in sync across devices.
  • To verify GCash upgrade payments you submit and apply the correct plan to your account.
  • To respond to support requests, bug reports, and feature requests you send us.
  • To maintain the security and integrity of the service.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Where your data is stored

Your data is hosted on Supabase, a third-party database and authentication provider. Access is scoped so that your store's data (products, sales, customers, GCash entries) is only readable by your account. A small number of designated administrators can access account-level information (not your store data day-to-day) to provide support, verify GCash upgrade payments, or resolve reported issues.

4. Third-party services

  • Google: used for sign-in authentication.
  • Supabase: hosts our database and manages authentication sessions.
  • Facebook Messenger:only if you choose to contact us through the Messenger link; that conversation is subject to Meta's own privacy policy.

5. Cookies

We use a signed, secure session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is strictly functional: we don't use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data (products, sales, customers, GCash and utang records) at any time by emailing mytindahansupport@gmail.com. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

7. Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data, and to object to or limit how it's processed. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at mytindahansupport@gmail.com.

8. Children's privacy

MyTindahan is intended for store owners and staff, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of MyTindahan after a change means you accept the updated policy.

10. Contact us

Questions about this policy or your data? Email mytindahansupport@gmail.com or reach out through our contact page.

Disclaimer: MyTindahan is a back-office store management tool (like a digital sales notebook, not a cash register or POS terminal) designed to help small sari-sari stores manage inventory, sales records, GCash transactions, and pautang. It is not a BIR-accredited POS or an official receipt issuance system. Store owners remain responsible for complying with applicable BIR regulations.
