How to use MyTindahan

Step-by-step guides for every module, the same ones you'll see inside your dashboard once you sign up.

Inventory

  1. 1Click "Add product" and fill in the name, unit, cost price, selling price, reorder level, and starting quantity. Leave the category as "Uncategorized" if you're not sure yet — you can change it later.
  2. 2To create a new category on the spot, choose "+ Add new category" in the category dropdown while adding or editing a product.
  3. 3Click "Restock" on a product whenever new stock comes in — this adds a new batch without changing the product's other details.
  4. 4Click "Edit" to change a product's info, or to edit/remove individual stock batches (quantity, cost, dates).
  5. 5Products at or below their reorder level are flagged "Low stock"; zero stock shows "Out of stock". Batches nearing their expiration date show up under Stock Alerts.
  6. 6Use the trash icon to delete a product — this also removes all of its stock batches.

Sales

  1. 1Go to the Checkout tab, then search or tap a product to add it to the cart.
  2. 2Adjust quantities with the +/- buttons, then choose a payment method: Cash, GCash, or Utang.
  3. 3If the payment method is Utang, pick which customer it's charged to.
  4. 4Click "Complete sale" to record it — you'll see a short receipt confirmation.
  5. 5Check Sales History to edit or delete a past sale, and Reports for revenue, cost (puhonan), and profit summaries.

Utang (credit)

  1. 1Click "Add utang" to log a new charge — pick an existing customer or add a new one, enter what's being taken and the amount, and optionally set "kailan babayaran" (due date).
  2. 2Click "Log payment" on a customer's row whenever they pay some or all of what they owe.
  3. 3Click a customer's name to open their full ledger — every charge and payment, in order.
  4. 4Customers whose balance goes over their credit limit are flagged as overdue automatically.
  5. 5Edit or delete any transaction from the ledger, and edit or delete a customer entirely from the balance table.

GCash

  1. 1Click "New transaction", choose Cash-in or Cash-out, then enter the amount, an optional service fee, customer name, and reference number.
  2. 2Your wallet balance updates automatically based on your cash-in/cash-out history.
  3. 3The Today / This Week / This Month cards summarize cash-in, cash-out, and profit (the service fees you've collected).
  4. 4Edit or delete any entry from the ledger table below.

Notes

  1. 1Click "Add note", write it, and tag it as General, To-do, or Restock idea.
  2. 2Check a note's box to mark it done — it moves down to the Done section.
  3. 3Edit or delete any note at any time.

Suppliers

  1. 1Click "Add supplier" and fill in their name, contact person, contact number, email, and any notes (delivery schedule, minimum order, payment terms, etc.).
  2. 2Edit or delete a supplier anytime from their card.

Install app

  1. 1On Android (Chrome): tap the ⋮ menu in the top right, then "Install app" (some phones show it as "Add to Home screen"), then confirm.
  2. 2On iPhone or iPad, this only works in Safari, not Chrome: tap the Share icon, scroll down to "Add to Home Screen," then tap Add.
  3. 3On a computer (Chrome or Edge): click the install icon in the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose "Install MyTindahan."
  4. 4Once installed, MyTindahan opens in its own window or icon — no address bar — and you sign in the same way as always. Nothing about your data changes.
